I created Zinjenzo to help students with their college applications, especially writing personal statements and activities lists. I want any student to be able to get professional help with their college application and have someplace to ask questions about admissions.
I have worked in college admissons for over 10 years, speaking to students about writing essays for college and scholarship applications. I have read thousands of essays and know what admissions counselors find compelling and what is mundane. My resume is attached if you'd like to learn more about my experience in higher education.
In addition to loving my work, I spend my free time bicycling in Seattle (where I live) and traveling to California for sunny bike rides. I have been lucky enough to travel to England on a scholarship with college students studying drama and since then, I am hoping to travel more (and I encourage my students to study abroad).
